MASTER’S HANDS BIBLE CHURCH

Deaf Ministries

Master’s Hands Bible Church (MHBC)-Deaf is a semi-autonomous ministry of TCBC.  We disciple Deaf people to serve the Lord as their reasonable service and loving response to Christ’s work of salvation. Come worship with us in ASL!

Deaf Church

Who We Are

MHBC–Deaf was a merger of Special Bible Church for the Deaf (Aurora) & South Sheridan Baptist Deaf (Lakewood).

We have served the Deaf community in the Denver metro area since 1996. Our church stands unashamedly on belief in the true gospel: Jesus died, buried, & resurrected! We are an independent, fundamental Baptist Church that desires to teach and preach a balanced gospel. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Our desire is that all Deaf will become saved and serve the risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We welcome people who “strive” to follow the Bible.

Kenyata and I want to win Deaf souls for Christ and disciple them so that they can live a victorious Christian life in the Deaf Community. We moved to Denver in 2019 and enjoy the mountains with our 11 children.

"Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ "

IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT LANGUAGE

Culture is an important component that shapes the interactive, visual, and natural way in which we communicate. Christian culture demands every thought & action conforms with the Bible.

Common Questions

Not currently!  We encourage Deaf members to share their language and culture freely with those wanting to learn.

Watch!  You can build your ASL receptive skills just watching a sermon.  Take notes to remember or review using a video.

Copy!  Your ASL expressive skills start with mirroring the signs you see.  Don’t be afraid to write or fingerspell a word that you unsure about before using it.

Jesus died.  Jesus buried.  Jesus rose again.  The gospel saves but more than that it impacts our daily walk as we become more like Christ.

Add to your faith!  While salvation is by grace alone through faith in Christ alone, sanctification is a process where we are separated for service to God.

We would love to have the opportunity to show you from God’s Word (the Bible) the best way to live (hint: by faith…).
