Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF)

Welcome to Tri-City’s ABF, where we work toward deeper connections with God and one another through engaging Bible study.

Each class is tailored to different interests and stages of life. The common goal is to build a firm foundation for spiritual growth with the intrinsic preeminence of the Lord Jesus Christ at the core of each group.

Join us as we journey together in faith and fellowship, discovering the richness of God’s word and its relevance to our lives today.

Parenting Class

The world seeks to destroy God’s first institution—the family. We offer the Parenting Class as a vehicle to biblically disciple parents and provide them with strategies to proactively disciple their children’s hearts towards Christlikeness. This class is offered on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM and is led by Wayne and Nancy Patterson as part of our SOS Biblical Counseling Ministry.

Led By:

Pastor Ed Bulkley

Dr. Ed & Marlowe Bulkley

Dr. Ed Bulkley was the founding pastor of a Bible church in Westminster, Colorado, where he served as senior pastor for more than 38 years. Upon retiring, Dr. Bulkley was surprised and honored when asked to join the ministry of Tri-City Baptist Church as Counseling Pastor and, later, as the Pastor for Seniors, directing the Young at Heart ministry. He is the founding Director of the SOS (Sufficiency of Scripture) Biblical Counseling Center, a ministry of Tri-City Baptist Church.

Dr. Bulkley is married to Marlowe, an author in her own right, who has ministered and counseled alongside Ed for more than 55 years. Together, they continue to serve with enthusiasm and joy, determined to “still bear fruit in old age… proclaiming, The LORD is upright…He is [our] Rock” (Psalm 92:14, 15).

Their decades of ministry experience have given the Bulkleys a depth of practical resources in applying the Scriptures to real-life issues facing Christians in this dysfunctional world.

Men's Dynamic Change

Wednesday nights are filled with a variety of ministries that involve a large number of workers. However, there are still some men who are free and who are looking for an in-depth men’s Bible study. This study begins at 6:30 p.m. and goes to 8:00 p.m.

The class focuses on the dynamics of Biblical change. As a result, the doctrine of sanctification is studied from a variety of passages. Men are challenged to be in the Word for themselves, yield to God, renew their minds, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. This transformation leads to greater Christ-likeness. The context for their sanctification and growth is especially seen in the home and workplace.

Men of all ages attend in person or online.

On Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m., there is an invitation for our men to come to church and have a cup of coffee and a mid-morning treat, often homemade by the ladies who have a ladies’ Bible study at the same time as the men. At 10:00 a.m., the men meet for a verse-by-verse Bible study of a particular book in the Bible. Interaction and especially discussion are welcomed.

In addition to the study, the men spend time praying. After the study, the men regularly go out to lunch together or join the women in the gym for a YAH fellowship meal.

The men pray and visit the men who are having health issues. The study is affectionately called the “Grumpy Old Men Bible Study.” The men come in “grumpy” and leave “happy!”

Grumpy old men, please join us!

Pastor & Allissa Senn

Eighteen months after his conversion in 1978, while working on his undergraduate degree in Pennsylvania, Will was called into the ministry and began his Bible college and seminary training. By the time his formal training was complete, he had received his Master of Divinity, Doctorate of Ministry, and an honorary Doctorate of Divinity. Pastor Senn’s first pastorate was at University Baptist Church in Clemson, SC, from 1984 to 2002. In July 2002, Pastor Senn became senior pastor at TCBC.

Pastor Senn is also the founder and president of Cross Impact Campus Ministries and serves on several college and mission boards.

In 2002, Pastor Senn, Allissa, and their three sons, John, Jim, and Ben, moved west to Tri-City Baptist Church. What attracted them was a loving church family and a vision for the West. More importantly, it was God’s clear call and leading.
