Missionary Of The Week

Adopt A Missionary

In addition to financial support, we endeavor to effectively know our missionaries and uphold them in prayer before the Lord. We encourage our people to personally adopt-a-missionary by making a commitment to do the following:

  1. Pray for them weekly
  2. Contact them quarterly
  3. Interact with them when they visit

Serving the Church and reaching the world

Worship, Discipleship, Evangelism: Christ-centered ministries focused on equipping saints, serving the community, and joining God’s mission to reach the world for His Kingdom.

Deaf Church

"Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ "

Matthew 22:37-39

Welcome to Tri-City

Pastor and Allissa Senn

In 2002, my wife, Allissa, and I, along with our three sons, John, Jim, and Ben, moved west to Tri-City Baptist Church. What attracted us was a loving church family and a vision for the West. More importantly, it was God’s clear call and leading.

As the pastor of Tri-City Baptist Church, I invite you to visit our ministry. I pray that God will clearly lead you in your search for a home church where you will feel like family and where you can get involved.

I would love to share with you the core values of our ministry and our vision for reaching the West with the gospel. These things are shared in my ‘Pastor’s HEART’ class that meets each Sunday at 9:00 a.m.

Please join us, where visitors become friends and friends become family!

Dr. William J. Senn, III

Senior Pastor

The TCBC HEARTBEAT

TCBC-church

Tri-City Baptist Church exists to worship God by loving Him supremely and loving others joyfully.

We endeavor to be a family-oriented ministry concerned with nurturing relationships from the youngest to the oldest within the institution that God has ordained and established.

We strive to have a H.E.A.R.T. for God and others:

H- Honoring the Lord

E- Expositing the Word

A- Affection for Others

R- Reaching the World

T- Training the Church

The H.E.A.R.T. Class

This is the church’s new members class or for those interested in getting a comprehensive overview of the TCBC ministry. The class is taught each week for thirteen weeks by a different pastor. The subjects broadly include “honoring” and worshiping the Lord, “expositing” and preaching the Word, loving or having “affection” for God and others, “reaching” the lost world with the gospel, and “training” believers to do Great Commission work. This class meets every Sunday at 9:00 AM.

About

What We Believe

We believe in the Bible as the verbally (every word) and plenary (completely) inspired Word of God. The Bible is without error and contradiction.

We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three Persons the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and that these three are one God.

We believe in the deity and virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus died, was buried, and rose again the third day for our sins.

We believe that a person is saved when he repents and exercises faith by accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. The believer is kept by the power of God and is eternally secure in Christ.

We believe that the local church is composed of baptized believers who have joined together voluntarily. Every local church ought to be autonomous and self-governing; therefore, we recognize no ecclesiastical organization as having authority over Tri-City Baptist Church.

We practice the two ordinances of baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as regular functions of the local church.

We believe in the “Blessed Hope,” which is the personal, bodily, pre-tribulation, pre-millennial, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior for His church.

We believe Christians are to be personally separated from all worldly practices that hinder spiritual growth and stability. TCBC will be separated from all forms of apostasy and religious inclusiveness.

We believe that by the power of the Holy Spirit, we all as members of this church should walk together in Christian love, strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge, holiness, and godliness.

What We Embrace

At Tri-City Baptist Church, we embrace Dispensational Theology – including the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the church and the Pre-Millennial Return of Christ.

In addition, we are exegetical and expositional in our preaching and teaching and doxological in our philosophy.

Baptist Distinctives

We also hold to historic Baptist distinctives:

B – Biblical Authority
A – Autonomy of the Local Church
P – Priesthood of the Believer
T – Two Ordinances
I – Individual Soul Liberty
S – Saved Church Membership
T – Two Offices
S – Separation of Church and State

Missions

Jesus commissioned His followers to make disciples of all nations. As a local church we partner with missionaries to take the message of Christ around the globe.

Food Bank

Our Food Bank exists to assist members of our community with their physical and spiritual needs by providing food and pointing them to the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Biblical Counseling

Biblical solutions promise true freedom, genuine inner peace and a fresh beginning. Dr. Ed Buckley oversees the Biblical Counseling department at Tri-City Baptist Church.

Anna's Hope

A ministry specifically created for the widows in our church. Prayer, support, fellowship, encouragement and loving care.

Music

Our music is designed for the worship of God rather than the entertainment of man. Because we desire Biblically faithful lyrics presented with a full sound that is distinct, we emphasize congregational singing with choir and orchestra accompaniment.

A/V/Tech

The Audio/Video ministry has become essential in increasing our outreach opportunities for sharing the gospel. Our worship services and special events can be livestreamed wherever there is internet access available. And recordings of the services are accessible on a variety of media platforms.

Cross Impact

Cross impact is an outreach to students, faculty, and staff on secular campuses. TCBC hosts the national office and staff for CIM. CIM’s goal is to enable and equip Bible-centered churches to fulfill the Great Commission on one of the most strategic mission fields on earth, the secular campus.

Church Planting

TCBC has enjoyed starting churches on the Front Range through the mother-daughter model. We have sought to plant an English-speaking church every five years. Efforts to plant new churches were begun in 2005, 2010, 2015 and after Covid in 2022.

Freedom That Lasts

More than merely managing addictions or even achieving ongoing sobriety, members of this faith-based recovery actively develop the character of Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only source of Freedom That Lasts.

Griefshare

A safe, welcoming support group where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. During this 13-week group study, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead, and what’s “normal” in grief.

Heavenly Quilters

Our ladies make and present lovely quilts for members of the church while praying as they sew. 2nd and 4th Tuesdays.

Camp Grace

God works through camp to challenge and encourage using extraordinary activities, quality accommodations and age-appropriate, spiritually intense preaching. The impact is felt not only by the campers, but by the whole church.

The Miracle of Salvation

Trusting Jesus

Jesus Christ

At the final judgment, God will separate unbelievers, condemning them, while believers will be received into His loving presence.

"...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved." —Acts 16:30

Jesucristo

En el juicio final, Dios separará a los incrédulos, condenándolos, mientras que los creyentes serán bienvenidos en su amorosa presencia.

"...Cree en el Señor Jesucristo, y serás salvo..."
—Acts 16:30

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30

Dispensation:
A period of time under which mankind is answerable to God for how it has obeyed the revelation of God which it has received. The Apostle Paul uses the term dispensation on four occasions in the New Testament.
(1 Corinthians 9:17; Ephesians 1:10; 3:2 ; Colossians 1:25)

Many Bible students believe all of history can be divided into several dispensations. According to this view, all of history has been pointing toward the second coming of Christ, when salvation will be made complete.
Seven dispensations are commonly identified:

Innocence, from Creation to the Fall of man and God’s sending them out of the Garden of Eden. (Genesis 3:24)

Conscience, the covenant with Adam, ending with the judgment of the Flood (Genesis 9)

Human government, the covenant with Noah, extending to the time of Abraham;

Promise, from Abraham’s call (Genesis 12:1) to Moses;

Law, from the giving of the Law to Moses (Exodus 19:8; 20:1-31:18) to the death of Jesus Christ;

Grace, from the death and resurrection of Christ to His Second Coming;

Kingdom, the establishment of God’s kingdom on earth and the thousand year reign of Christ over the nations.

Exegetical:
Exegesis is the practice of discovering the meaning of a text in its original cultural, historical, literary and theological contexts. It is to be distinguished from hermeneutics, which is the theory of interpretation.

Expositional:
An expositor defines and explains the meaning of a biblical text, whether in a classroom, from a pulpit, over electronic media or in published popular or scholarly commentary. In expository preaching a text rather than a topic determines the preacher’s theme and conclusion. An expository sermon is usually based on a biblical passage several verses in length but can be limited to a single phrase.

Doxological:
An ascription of praise offered to God in Christian worship. The term comes from the Greek roots ‎duxa ‎and ‎logia
‎(“words of glory”). In the broadest sense, Christians strive to make not only worship, but also theology and life itself,
a doxology.
